Day 3 - Denver
I spent my third day off the Harley, visiting teammates and friends in and around Denver. Such a beautiful city.
The third visit on my journey will be to our corporate location for GameTruck Denver. Christian Prados is our intrepid manager for the Denver location. He moved there from Portland, Oregon to take up running this location and year over year we continue to grow.
He's done an amazing job on an island, so getting to spend time with him is awesome.
After spending time riding along to a birthday party, I grab an Uber and join my friends at EO Colorado for their year kick off event.
One thing I love about EO is the amazing people you meet. People who have founded their own company and grown it to over $1M in revenue are super interesting.
For me the weather is beautiful, but it is hot, over 100 degrees. Still, I'll take it over the scorching temperatures in Phoenix right now.
It was good to be off the Harley for a day. Tomorrow I head to Des Moines. It will be another long day. There's a good chance I'll stop in Omaha instead. (It's good to have a backup stop.) By all accounts this should be the most challenging section of driving because it is just straight, flat road for hundreds of miles.
But, hey, it will be great to see friends at the end of the route!
