Wow, yesterday was a crazy 660 miles. That is a haul, but I was was super lucky. The weather was amazing.
I pulled out of my driveway at 4:30 AM, and made great time to Flagstaff, pulling up to Julie's door at 6:59 AM. It was HOT when I left Phoenix, had top be in the high 90's even that early in the morning, but Flagstaff was beautifully cool.
Julie was a part of my second accountability group when I was a coach or the EO Accelerator Program. She runs an incredible coaching business. She's super interesting and fun to hang out with. It is really cool to see people start to scale their businesses.
Remote Finds
One of the things I love about traveling is you find the strangest things. On the I-40 just past Holbrook, AZ is a place called Knife City Outlet. They have the largest selection of knives I have ever seen, including the biggest selection of Benchmade Knives.
A few years ago, while mountain bike riding I lost my favorite knife - you guessed it, a Benchmade CLA. I haven't been able to find a replacement... until yesterday!
So happy to finally have that replaced. You found the darndest things when you travel.
New Mexico
My good friend Brandon and his wife Liz have been coming to Angel Firefire. I haven't had a chance to go but this year Brandon invited me to drop by on my trip and I took it! And that changed everything. Instead of heading to a bunch of national parks by myself, my trip turned into a chain of visits to family and friends.
I'm excited about today because I'm headed to Denver, not very far by miles, like maybe 250 - but I'm going to see my team, and meet up with som EO friends in Colorado.
